The Reti collection is a proposal by the German studio Terhedebrügge with a notable graphic inspiration, as it recreates a grid transferred to a rug. Its appearance can recall the grids used in graphic design for editorial compositions, but also those of urban planning or a notebook.
The Reti collection rugs are made with soft recycled PET fibers on hand-operated looms using the Hand Loom technique, making them very pleasant to the touch and, at the same time, very resistant. For this reason, Reti rugs can be placed in indoor or outdoor environments. Due to their design, they fit well in a living room, as well as in a workspace or on a terrace.
Its artisanal manufacturing process on hand-operated looms is what allows its design to be executed with the necessary precision required by its grid. Thus, while the grid gives its design a contemporary look, the handmade process adds warmth and texture to the piece.
Studio Terhedebrügge, Designer of the RETI Collection
Studio Terhedebrügge was founded by siblings Silvia, Antonia, and Julius Terhedebrügge in Berlin. Their approach combines conceptual depth with playful creativity and intuitive ideas. Since childhood, they have experimented together with forms, materials, and aesthetics, developing a unique design language shaped by curiosity and a deep sensitivity to their surroundings.
By seamlessly blending function with emotion, they create objects and spaces that engage the senses and invite interaction—establishing a dialogue between the viewer and the work. With their constant drive to redefine design, Studio Terhedebrügge transforms everyday life into something meaningful, dynamic, and inspiring.
