    A remix of primitive echoes.
A complex technique taken to another aesthetic dimension. The GLAOUI collection consists of a series of designs that eclectically and harmoniously combine a varied style of patterns, made using three different systems incorporated into the Moroccan handcrafted textile method after which the collection is named. Mixing hand-weaving, hand-knotted, and hand-embroidery, the result is a series of rugs and poufs in changing textures and sizes, with a wealth of pattern combinations.Collection designer Sandra Figuerola was inspiredby the colours and topography of Africa and India.

She studied Fine Arts at the San Carlos Art School in Valencia.

In 1984, along with 10 other partners, she founded La Nave design studio, a distinctive concept on the national design scene, inextricably linked with a particular period of Valencian design. She stayed with La Nave until it was disbanded in 1991.

Her professional activities also extend to the field of education; she has been involved in the Graphic Design masters course at the CEU San Pablo Catholic university, and continues to teach in the San Carlos Faculty of Fine Arts.

Her work has been published in magazines and books about design and she has taken part in many exhibitions, including: Perspectives of Spanish Design, Design Museum, London (1990). 20 Dissenyadors Valencians, IVAM (1994).
