Nelson® 15.25" (385mm) Wood Fan Clock designed by George Nelson and made by Vitra Design Museum in Europe. Designed by the American designer in 1948, Nelson's stylish fan wall clock is characterized by a stylish demeanor. Fan clocks are crafted from solid wood, veneer, black-buttons that mark the hours, white lacquered steel arrows for hour and minutes and a thin red second-arrow (also in steel). At first edited by the Howard Miller Clock Company, Vitra has now been able to re-create this better-known Nelson design according to the exact specifications of its creator. Unlike the original clock design that featured an electric movement, this new edition features a high-quality quartz clock movement and a simple 1.5 volt AA battery (included). Price is for one (1) piece. This is an original Vitra design with label. Packaged in Vitra cardboard box.

George Nelson & Associates was highly regarded as one of the most important creative forces in American 20th century design.
