The Luceplan Metropoli D20/17V is the smallest fixture in the celebrated Metropoli collection. Measuring just 6.7 inches in diameter with a slim 3-inch profile, it delivers clean, understated Italian design while providing versatile lighting for both residential and commercial interiors.
Featuring a prismatic glass diffuser housed in a durable die-cast aluminum body, the Metropoli produces comfortable, evenly diffused illumination. Its compact size makes it an excellent choice for hallways, bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens, entryways, and living spaces. It is equally suitable for covered outdoor installations such as porches, porticos, and patios.
Designed for versatility, the fixture may be installed on either a wall or ceiling and is UL and cUL listed for use in damp locations.
Originally designed by Alberto Meda, Paolo Rizzatto, and Riccardo Sarfatti for Luceplan in Italy, the Metropoli collection is known for combining elegant minimalist styling with thoughtful engineering. The innovative "watch-case" style diffuser opens easily for convenient bulb replacement and cleaning, while the large rear opening simplifies electrical installation and maintenance.
This incandescent version uses one G16 candelabra-base bulb (40W maximum) or an equivalent LED replacement. A compatible light bulb is included with your purchase.
