Bol Outdoor Fire Pit Bowl - 42 Inch Large Round Gas or Propane Burning Patio & Backyard Firepit for Outside. The weathering steel version of our modern, round campfire, Bol fire pit combines the mesmerizing beauty of open flame with the rich patina of rusted metal otherwise known as corten steel. Our simplest expression of organic minimalism, Bol Corten fire bowl is a wide, shallow vessel spun from 3/16” (5 mm) Corten steel. Bol's low profile, fine edge detail, and patina finish are simultaneously elegant and earthy and at 42" (1067 mm) diameter, Bol fire pit is a dramatic centrepiece for any outdoor space.

Natural gas and propane versions of our Corten fire pits come complete with lava rock topping medium. Corten steel firepits are pre-weathered to provide even patina coverage.

PLEASE NOTE: the wood-burning version of Bol cannot be placed on flammable or non-heat-stable surfaces – this includes concrete slabs. Concrete may contain trapped moisture and can spall or even explode when heated.

Installation:
Professional installation is necessary. Although the installation is straightforward, professional installation is required by a licensed contractor in compliance with local building codes. Check your local building codes if a permit is required. Natural Gas or Propane Fueled editions are rated for installations up to 4500’ (1372 m) above sea level. Above 4500’ the appliance must be derated at the factory for the appropriate altitude unless the local fuel is pre derated. For outdoor use only.

Ignition:
The Bol modern fire pit may be ordered with your choice of either wood burning, natural gas or propane burners. Our burners are available in two styles: a manually-lit version with standing pilot and safety thermocouple, or with electronic ignition that may be controlled with a wall switch or wireless remote. Our burners are ETL listed, certified to CSA and ANSI standards for the U.S. and Canada. At 60,000-69,0000 BTu/h, they provide a beautiful flame and cozy warmth to extend your enjoyment of the outdoors into the chilliest seasons.

Packaging:
This fireplace will be securely packaged in an easy-to-open wooden crate. Crate disassembles within minutes by using a flat head screwdriver. The fireplace base ships fully assembled. Topping medium will be separately packaged and will need to be spread out over fire pit after the installation.

Manual match-lit edition is standard on natural gas and propane fueled editions: electronic ignition (remote start) is also available and comes with a handheld remote (Skylink Receiver and Remote). .
