This is the original halogen version of the iconic Taccia Table Lamp by Achille Castiglioni, produced before Flos converted the design to LED. It features the matte black aluminum base and includes the original PAR 30 halogen bulb, offering a warmer, more atmospheric glow than the newer LED models. Designed in 1958 and first produced by Flos in 1962, the Taccia lamp remains one of the most celebrated pieces in Italian modern lighting. Castiglioni described it as the "Mercedes of lamps"—a symbol of success, elegance, and timeless design. The lamp reflects light off a concave aluminum reflector with a matte white finish, while the direction of light is adjusted by positioning the clear methacrylate diffuser. Its bold yet minimalist aesthetic makes it equally suitable as a table or floor lamp.
