Ross Lovegrove (b. 1958), Wales.

Ross Lovegrove graduated from Manchester Polytechnic University. He received a Master of Design Degree of the Royal College of Art, London in 1983. He began his professional career working with industrial design studios in London and Stuttgart before moving to Paris in 1984, upon invitation of Knoll International, becoming author of the Alessandri office system and other office projects. Whilst in Paris he was a member of the Atelier de Nimes with Philippe Starck and Jean Nouvel. He returned to London in late 1987, he has completed projects with many different companies in the field of product and furniture design, creating a unique variety of culturally and commercially prominent pieces.

Ross Lovegrove is the winner of numerous international awards. His work has been extensively published and exhibited internationally. Past and current projects include the interior studies for the new Airbus A3XX, the first class advanced interior for Japan Airlines and the complete diversification program for Tag Heuer, Switzerland.
