Renato Toso was born on the island of Murano in 1940 and Noti Massari was born in Venice in 1939. Their children , "The Associates" are Anna , born in Venice in 1980 , Marco born in Cortina d' Ampezzo in 1970 , Pio born in Venice in 1973 and Tito , born in 1971 in Venice. As a family , they founded their namesake firm with their children in 1996 , although the couple collaborated on many projects commencing in the 1970's. Their work varies and spans the fields of architecture , product design and numerous related studies. They have collaborated with esteemed companies such as Estel, Leucos, Stilwood, Rossi di Albizzate, Frighetto, Fly Line, North Sailes, Henry Lloyd, Venini, Cattelan Italia, Ali and Alpi, Formica.
