Flos stylish 3-Part Small Tatout 'T' Table Lamp (available in three color editions: white, black or bronze) with a see-through polycarbonate outer diffuser and opal-white inner sphere (hand-made in Italy) and a metal base that is powder coated in the same finish as the shade. An integrated cable-dimmer allows you to dim the light, from soft to strong, between 10-100%. Designed by the Spanish architect, "TATOU-T" is a stunning contemporary-looking table light with a distinctive lattice-like top. With its decorative design, Urquiola's design was loosely based on the Armadillo: The unassuming animal whose brilliant structure keeps it protected. The Flos Tatou Table Lamp stands 19.69" tall and its shade measures 11.02" in diameter. Patricia Urquiola Spanish industrial designer born in 1961, has become one of Europe's most recognized and influential designers. The Oviedo-born designer often takes the recurring patterns in nature (plants, trees - animals) as inspiration for her creations. The beauty, design, and ingenuity found everywhere in the natural world can also be found in Urquiola's lighting and furniture. A firm believer in 'natural design', she has created a vast array of comfortable sofas, soft rugs and unique lamps for firms such as Vitra, Gandiablasco and Flos.
