The Scalo stool and stepladder was designed by Benedetto Quaquaro for Cerruti Baleri in Italy. One object, two souls, three finishes and a multitude of uses.

Side-table or stool convertible into a step ladder or small bookshelf through the movement of hidden hinges. Scalo is made of bent plywood in natural ash color with laminated lead-gray interior, in moka ash color with laminated red interior or in white lacquered with moka ash wood interior. A stainless steel stop securely locks Scalo in both configuration for a safe use.
