The Pirce is a cable suspension mounted luminaire for indirect halogen lighting designed by Giuseppe Maurizio Scutellà for Artemide.Artemide's Pirce lamp is the winner of the prestigious 2009 Red Dot Design Award! The structure of the Artemide Pirce lamp is in aluminum with a white finish. One continuous slender piece of aluminum is used to create a unique spiral. The ceiling canopy is in steel with a thermoplastic cover, and suspension cables are in stainless steel. The Artemide Pirce pendant lamp mounts onto standard electrical junction boxes. The Pirce pendant lamp has a spectacular lighting system, engineered in a way that the spirals of the lamp cast no shadows and only disperses light indirectly.
