The Spoon chair was designed by Antonio Citterio for Kartell in Italy. Spoon is a highly versatile and comfortable office chair for everyday use. The Kartell Spoon office chair features the perfect combination of good Italian design and sophisticated technology. It offers ergonomic efficiency and individual adjustments for the greatest comfort in an office chair. The Spoon chair can be height adjusted with a handle that is concealed within its trunk. This chair adjusts from 33 inches to 37 inches to accommodate various table heights. It moves on four casters for added mobility around the workplace. Spoon is a highly suitable office chair for the business or the home office. The Kartell Spoon chair was the winner of the 2007 Good Design Award. A monoshell light office chair on castors, Spoon Chair is the result of a totally avant-grande production process. The innovative dual-component injection molding technology used to produce this chair creates a "layered" product. Two different thermoplastics are molded at the same time, one for beauty (exterior) and other for its high mechanical resistance, giving Spoon chair its highly technological characteristics and maximum flexibility. It also provides a customizable thickness, which adapts to the user's weight. The easy-to-use handle regulating the mechanism is integrated inside the bottom shell, entirely concealed inside the trunk in order to avoid interrupting the sinuous line. A brilliant design for the home office or work place.
