Artemide's latest addition in the Tolomeo series is the super functional Tolomeo Wall Spot Micro; a cute-as-a button compact architectural wall lamp that is perfect when used as a spot light.  Tolomeo Micro is about 35% smaller in scale compared to the original Tolomeo Wall Spot Classic.  A perfect bedside reading lamp with its timeless understated elegance and perfectly engineered functionality; famous hallmarks of the Tolomeo series.  Select either with on/off switch (most common) or without switch.  When you do choose the on/off switch; please note that it is incorporated on the round mounting plate (not on the diffuser).  The Artemide Tolomeo Wall Spot Light Micro can take any E12-type screw-in base light bulb such as incandescent or halogen.  We also offer a stationary LED version with build-in LED lights that consume only 8W of power.  Just make your preferred light source selection above and Stardust will include a complimentary light bulb of your choice with your purchase of the Tolomeo Wall Spot Micro!  Sourcing the right light bulb can be a time-consuming task so we are more than happy to include the required bulb with your Tolomeo.

We had a chance to test the Tolomeo Wall Spot Micro by Artemide at the Stardust showroom.  Here's our review... This small wall-mounted reading light is perfectly sized for for small bedrooms where it can be used as a compact bedside reading lamp for everyday reading use.  It also makes a nice task light at a home office when you don't want to take up any valuable desktop space. Its compact size takes up a limited amount of valuable wall space.  The space saving qualities of this Micro sized Tolomeo results in a reduced light output of 60W incandescent or 40W halogen (compared to 100W incandescent of the Tolomeo Wall Spot Classic).  But we found that the Tolomeo Wall Spot Micro still shines bright for its intended use; a bedroom reading lamp.  In short, Tolomeo Wall Spot Micro is a great little wall spot light for daily use and it is a perfect reading lamp to read a book in bed at night without having to worry about the light waking up your partner (just dim the light with an external Lutron wall dimmer).  On the functional side: Tolomeo Wall Spot Micro features the same flexibility as the original larger Tolomeo Wall Spot Classic.  The position and the direction of the light source can be adjusted thanks to its 360 degree diffuser. Adjusting it requires little effort.  Point it up or point it down; it's easy to get the light where you want with the Tolomeo's unobtrusive metal handle.  Installation is easy as well.  The Tolomeo Wall Spot Micro has a wall support in polished die-cast aluminum suitable for direct mounting and wiring to a wall junction box.  As a Stardust Staff Pick, we really like the Tolomeo Wall Spot Micro for its timeless good looks and can highly recommend it for its intended use.
