Flos Toio Floor Lamp by Achille Castiglioni. The Toio Lamp, designed by Achille Castiglioni in 1962, has been manufactured by Flos in Italy ever since it was introduced. Castiglioni's Toio is a minimalist floor lamp refreshingly devoid of superficial decoration. Castiglioni designed the Toio to cast its light upwards as a torchiere floor lamp. The Toio floor lamp by Flos is one of our favorite floor lamps and perfect when you need to brigthen up a ceiling. Less is more (light) as Mies van der Rohe famously stated!

Toio o Boio! The Flos Toio lamp is the Industrial Design Classic par excellence! Toio is in the permanent design collection of the MoMA New York. It features a telescopic stem with a maximum height of 78.7". This iconic classic was designed in 1962 and has become one of the best selling floor lamps for Flos, the leading Italian modern lighting brand, in the last decades. It's purpose: to provide light! Toio is available with either a black or red finish. It has an on/off dimmer switch on the cord.
