The Elements 006 Table was designed by Jaime Hayon for Moooi in the Netherlands.
This is a textured and fabric covered table with a solid wood round top.
The table base is covered in a Divina Melange fabric that is available in four beautiful colors (dark gray, light gray, aubergine, brown).
The table top is a circular wooden top available in a choice of three finishes (white, black or wenge).
The Elements 006 table allows us to mix it a up a little.
The base can be matched with any top one chooses.
The concept of the Elements series was to create each piece of a stackable sculpture which would have different uses like: a mirror, a table, a tray etc.
A series of different colors, materials and finishes would then be applied to each vertebra making the whole richer and more flexible.
The designs are unique and creative.
The designer was seduced by the perfect form the cactus symbolizes.
The fact that it is modular, allowing for multiple combinations, always intrigued him, and therefore inspired the Elements to follow in the same concept of design.
Moooi designs and produces their modern lighting and contemporary accessories in the Netherlands.
