The ABCD modern seating series was designed by Pierre Paulin
for Artifort in the Netherlands in 1966. It is one of the classics
in the history of modern furniture. The ABCD three seater sofa is a clean, simple ergonomic form sculpted to fit the body, one of the most comfortable chairs ever made!
Pierre Paulin's ABCD is a powerful, protective and yet elegant modern design chair.
Its curves look like inviting waves. Organic and soft. Very relaxing and supportive.

The current ABCD series look exactly the same as the originals from 1966.
They are still manufactured by Artifort in the Netherlands.
The ABCD three seater sofa is available with fixed feet or casters so it can be moved with great ease.

This awe-inspiring modern fabric was designed by Jack Lenor Larsen for the ABCD
in 1967 and is still available. This exceptional fabric lends an extra dimension to Pierre Paulin’s seating sculptures.
