The TU-BE 1 is a beautiful and very unique modern light fixture.
The fascination of banal things, ordinary objects you see and use everyday, so well known you don't even notice them anymore, was the Muse
for Ron Arad and Ingo Maurer. The transformation of an every day object, paint tubes, takes them out of their context, evoking illusions, exploring possibilities.
The TU-BE 1 lamp was created through a design collaboration between Ron Arad and Ingo Maurer.
30 aluminum tubes, steel, plastic. 230/125/12 volts. 2 x 50 watts halogen, socket GY 6, 35, and 4 LEDs, 4 x 1 watts in blue and white. Cable length is 6.56 feet, special cable length of 14.76 feet is available upon request.
