Flos makes these lamps in a very special way.
This lamp has two layered diffusers (shades).
The first transparent outer diffuser has an internal aluminized coating.
The internal aluminum coating is more profound near the bottom of the diffuser and it becomes less
intensive near the top. This creates a fantastic effect; the second internal diffuser (which has a white opal finish)
appears more visible near the top of the lamp.
It is suspended from the ceiling with three stainless
steel cables and a white ceiling rose measuring 6.8" dia.
